Manual two-channel Shortie-82 radio (VHF / UHF)

Shortie-82 was developed in co-operation with Baofeng and is a so-called i.e. a radio that operates in two frequency ranges - VHF and UHF. But the dual band is not all this device has to offer. The Shortie-82model has more duplicated elements, which makes it a very universal tool for radio communication, both in the air, on land and at sea.

Features of the radio:

- PTT button with which you can change the transmission channel without having to switch the channel manually,
– FM radio automatically switches from reception in the 76-108 MHz range as soon as a signal appears on the selected VFO A and B channels,
- Possibility to work on a selected band on two different frequencies (transmitting/listening on the main frequency + listening on the auxiliary frequency),
– Blocking the transmission on an occupied canal,
- Voice confirmation of the operation,
- manual keyboard lock,
– Energy-saving mode,
- Programming from a computer via RS or USB,
- Most functions have assigned key combinations, so you don't have to go through the multi-level menu every time,
- backlit LCD display which, in addition to alphanumeric characters, also displays symbols that confirm the status of most of the built-in functions,
– the housing consists of a thick layer of hard plasticwhich significantly increases the mechanical strength,
- Operation Temperature range from -20 * C to + 60 * C,
