The CM18 MOD1 carbine replica from G&G was designed as part of the Combat Machine project, whose main goal was to offer high-class replicas at a price that could be considered economical. Combat Machine replicas are characterised by the high quality of workmanship and work culture typical of G&G, as well as the high quality of the materials used. The main factor that makes it possible to lower the price is the use of a receiver made of high quality plastic instead of metal. Another important fact is that the receiver is made of Polymer reinforced with glass fibre - as well as the front grip, the stock and almost all other plastic elements - while the outer barrel, the stock tube, the swivels and most of the smaller elements were made of metal.

The replica has an SF stock that ends with a rubber knob that holds the battery. The stock can be adjusted so that the shooter can adapt the length of the carbine to his own physique and preferences. A set of folding sights is included in the scope of delivery. The folding sights guarantee that the mounting of a riflescope does not interfere.

CM18 MOD1 is equipped with an upper RIS rail over the entire length of the housing and a set of three long mounting rails instead of the front handle. This complete conversion allows the mounting of a whole range of additional accessories, from optical sights and tactical torches to laser target markers. The replica was mainly finished in black, with the exception of the pistol grip, stock, sights, magazine and front rail covers, which were finished in light brown.

The replica is sold together with a polymer mid-cap magazine with 120 BBs.

The replica has a v2 gearbox with 8mm ball bearing and enables an initial muzzle velocity of ~395 FPS straight from the packaging. This and the use of a 275 mm long inner barrel make the replica perfect for use at short and medium distances.
