SA-B07 - Half Tan Assault Rifle Replica from Specna Arms is largely made of a uniform zinc and aluminium alloy, reinforced with steel elements in the most sensitive areas of the replica (steel elements - all screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Both the butt plate and the pistol grip are made of polymer. The receiver of the replica and the RIS handguard were the process of anodising, which guarantees a high level of protection against corrosion. The paint was applied using a powder coating process after the surface has been sandblasted before the paint is applied. This method of paint application is known from replicas, e.g. from G&P, and ensures a much higher abrasion resistance of the applied paint than usual. The receiver bears USMC markings.

The parts of the replica are very well matched - the replica is also perfectly balanced in a way that has previously only been seen in replicas from such high-calibre manufacturers as G&P or Classic Army. This allows for almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica and the weight is hardly noticeable once you have shouldered the replica.

The replica has a Fast spring release system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. Thanks to this system, it is possible to quickly and easily adjust the performance of the replica to the expected conditions on the pitch without the need to have access to a workshop or a set of special tools - once the gearbox has been removed from the body of the replica, the process of changing the spring takes literally seconds.

The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system are hard to overestimate. Given the current trend across Europe to use legal restrictions on muzzle velocity of replicas or internal regulations within different groups, the system guarantees the user a variety of options and a lot of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system makes it possible to change the mainspring in a minimum of time and thus adapt the muzzle velocity to the playing area in such a way that an ideal compromise between the effectiveness of the fire and safety for the user himself as well as for other participants is guaranteed.

The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe Batteries. Due to the basic muzzle velocity of ~410 FPS, which is achieved by the manufacturer's standard built-in mainspring, the replica is perfectly suited for medium-range operation. The set also includes an M90 spring, which makes it possible to reduce the muzzle velocity to ~310 FPS and thus adapt the replica for close-range and indoor operation.

A reinforced gearbox at cylinder level contains a steel spring carriage, which is an element of the Enter & Convert™ system and is mounted on 8 mm steel ball bearings and washers. The system is secured with four anti-reverse locks. The lightweight polycarbonate polymer piston is fitted with a steel tooth to increase its durability. In addition, a type 2 cylinder and a steel circuit breaker, as well as a metal hop-up chamber.

The upgraded version is equipped with some new, improved internal parts:

After removing the transport handle, you gain access to the upper RIS 22mm rail. It allows the replica to be fitted with different types of optical sights. In addition, the entire handguard is equipped with a set of long RIS mounting rails. The replica is equipped with adjustable iron sights made of metal. The battery is housed inside the fixed stock. Thanks to the available space inside the stock, it is possible to implement a large power source and thus a considerable capacity. A standard flash hider is based on a 14 mm left-hand threadwhich allows a silencer to be attached in its place.

To increase the realism of the game, the replica also has a functioning bolt catch mechanism.

The replica is supplied with a 300 BB steel hi-cap magazine. The colour pattern corresponds to the magazines for live firearms typically used by the armed forces.
