SA-B16 assault rifle replica from Specna Arms is largely made of a uniform zinc and aluminium Aluminium-Alloy, reinforced with steel elements in the most sensitive areas of the replica (steel elements - all screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Both the stock, which holds the battery, and the pistol grip are made of polymer. The receiver of the replica and the RIS handguard were the process of anodising, which guarantees a high level of protection against corrosion. The colour was Powder coating process after the surface has been sandblasted before the paint is applied. This ensures a much higher abrasion resistance of the applied paint than usual. The receiver carries Specna Arms markings.
The parts of the replica fit together very well - in a way that has only been seen in replicas from top manufacturers such as G&P or Classic Army, the replica is also perfectly balanced. This allows for almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica and the weight is hardly noticeable once you have shouldered the replica.

The replica has a New generation quick-release system, the so-called SAEC™. Thanks to this system, it is possible to quickly and easily adjust the performance of the replica to the expected conditions on the pitch without having to have access to a workshop or a set of special tools. The spring change is even faster than the previous version of the system.

Thanks to the SAEC™ system the gearbox does not have to be removed from the replica- everything what is to remove the barrel, while a special pin located underneath is removed together with a spring slider on bearings. We replace the main spring, screw the pin back into the housing, attach the stem and... we are back in play! The entire process only requires a long Phillips screwdriver to remove the shaft.
The advantages of the SAEC™ system can hardly be overestimated. Given the current tendency throughout Europe to utilise legal restrictions regarding the muzzle velocity of replicas or internal regulations within different groups, the system guarantees the user a wide range of options and a great deal of freedom. The SAEC™ system allows, the main spring with a minimum of time and thus adapt the muzzle velocity to the playing area in such a way that an ideal compromise between shooting effectiveness and safety for the user himself and for other participants is guaranteed.

The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe Batteries. Due to the basic muzzle velocity of ~430 FPS which is guaranteed by the main spring installed as standard by the manufacturer, the replica is perfectly suited for use at medium distances.

A gearbox reinforced at cylinder level contains a steel spring carriage, which is an element of the SAEC™ system and is mounted on 8 mm ball bearings and steel gear washers. The system is secured with four anti-reverse locks. A lightweight polycarbonate piston is fitted with steel gearing to increase its durability. A type 2 cylinder and a steel interrupter have also been fitted. The Replica is factory-fitted with a precise, rotating hop-up unit made of polymer, which enables very precise and stable regulation of the BB overclocking.

The updated version offers a range of new, reinforced parts such as:

The replica is equipped with a 22 mm RIS rail and a RIS handguard with free-float system. The upper RIS rail has a folding metal sight that can be freely removed to make room for the attachment of an optoelectronic aiming device of your choice. The muzzle device is based on a 14 mm left-hand threadwhich allows a silencer to be fitted in its place.

To increase the realism of the game, the replica also features a functioning bolt catch mechanism.

The replica comes with a 300 BB Hi-Cap magazine made of steel.
