Wiley-X is a manufacturer of eye protection of the highest quality for civil and military use. The materials and solutions used guarantee outstanding wearing comfort and optical quality. The ballistic version of the goggles has proven its efficiency more than once by protecting soldiers' vision from shrapnel, e.g. in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Black Ops Series glasses are designed with everyday use in mind and are characterised by their sporty look. The glasses are part of the Climate Control series, which offers maximum comfort for the eyes during activities with high airflow (cycling, etc.). The frames are equipped with a special, removable insert made of soft foam (FACIAL CAVITY™ SEALS) equipped, the additional insulation, e.g. from wind, dust or sweat. Temple tips prevent the glasses from slipping. The goggles in the Climate Control series minimise the discomfort associated with dry eyes due to airflow. Especially recommended for people with dry eyes.

The frame and the lenses were made in HVP™ technology (High Velocity Protection). As a result protect our eyes from damage caused by Objects moving at high speed (all glasses that comply with this standard can withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6.35 cm travelling at a speed of 164.6 km/h). In addition, during the production of the glasses Hard Coating and Anti Fog technologies are used to improve their scratch resistance and virtually eliminate fogging.

All Wiley-X goggles fulfil the ANSI-Z87.1-2003 standard and many of them also fulfil the strict American standards for ballistic protection and are provided with NSN (NATO Stock Number) numbers. Tinted, polarised and photochromic lenses contain filters that protect against UVA/UVB radiation. Detailed information can be found in the description of each product.

The manufacturer guarantees the impact resistance to solid objects within its durability class or issued certificates. Nevertheless, the use of this eye protection does not exclude the possibility of physical damage if the product is not properly adjusted, e.g. if the ball passes under the protective glass on impact. It is therefore advisable to adjust the eye protection correctly to the user's individual requirements before use. The protective properties of the product can also be altered by improper use and maintenance of the product, e.g. by cleaning the lenses with unsuitable agents.
