The CM039U replica has a metal body and is equipped with a stock that can be folded to the side of the replica, as well as a RIS rail set that allows the attachment of additional accessories to the replica: a laser target marker, a telescopic sight, a tactical torch, a tactical grip and so on. Some smaller elements of the replica are made of plastic.

A V.3 gearbox drives the replica and is fitted with a set of reinforced steel threaded gears mounted on steel plain bearings. This design uses a directional piston head with a stronger spring and an aluminium sleeve located in the piston.
