The GR15 Raider from G&G is a perfect model that will certainly satisfy even the most demanding shooters. The replica is made of metal and plastic and is sophisticated down to the last detail. The effective Pneumatic Blow Back System imitates the movements of the bolt carrier just like the real gun.

The Pneumatic Blow Back System works on the principle that part of the compressed air from the gearbox is channelled into a special cylinder located above the gearbox housing. A piston located in the cylinder of the Pneumatic Blow Back System moves a thin plate, which is a replica of the bolt carrier. CAUTION: The manufacturer advises against the use of batteries with more than 8.4 V, as there is a possibility that the plate imitating the bolt carrier will be damaged.

The elements that are made of metal are: the heat shield of the barrel, the firing mode selector lever, the replica gas barrel, the RIS rail system, the body, the trigger, the tactical sling attachment points, the cocking handle and the iron sights. Steel was also used for other elements of this model, such as the magazine, the drive and the magazine release.

The manufacturer also took care of a comfortable, profiled grip and an ergonomic SF-type stock, thanks to which shooting from the heavy replica is easy and pleasant. The standard iron sights - the front and rear iron sights known from the M16 model - are fully adjustable and thanks to the possibility of removing the rear sight, we get a RIS rail that is almost 350 mm long. Mounting red dot sights or magnifiers is no problem.

The RIS rail system itself is slightly longer than the standard rail system and thanks to the RIS rail system, the shooter can customise the replica even better to his needs.

The replica is equipped with a bolt catch/release button, thanks to which we have the possibility to block the replica of the bolt carrier in the rear position and thus gain access to the hop-up system.

The G&G replicas equipped with the Pneumatic Blow-Back System also have a modified V.2 transmission. The modifications were made by adapting the gearbox to the Pneumatic Blow-Back System and adding an "active spring release" in the form of the actuator. You cannot use any other transmission with the Pneumatic Blow-Back System and the active spring release.
