The M56C shotgun replica is made of durable plastic and metal and the elements such as the shuttle and the pistol grip are equipped with a non-slip surface to improve the grip. The tube magazine under the barrel, the cartridge chamber and the stock tube are made of metal. As with the M56DL model, the replica is equipped with a four-position stock with a comfortable cheek rest.

In contrast to the original gun, the replica is loaded using the "pump" action characteristic of classic shotguns. The replica is fed by interchangeable cartridges (cartridge cases) containing 30 BB pellets. The trigger safety lever is located in the rear part of the trigger guard.
