Description

Redox LiPo 2400 mAh 11.1V 20C battery (split)

Redox packs are presented with new quality on the market for power sources designed for ASG replicas. Each cell is individually tested and paired by hand with the others in the pack, which guarantees high quality and careful processing. Each cell is also labelled with an individual ID number so that the entire usage history of the pack can be traced - which is why all batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. 100%igen product replacement guarantee covered in the event of a manufacturing defect.

Redox lithium polymer batteries are characterised by a Good weight/size ratio and a Very long service life with constant power output.

PLithium-ion polymer ( LiPo ) batteries are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion ( LiIon ) batteries. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is undoubtedly the ratio of capacity to size. They are very small and still have a very high current capacitywhich makes it possible to select a suitable battery for practically any AEG replica. They have no memory effect. They can be recharged very frequently without being discharged first. Frequent charging is an advantage with this type of battery.

Make sure that the LiPo pack is not below 3V per cell discharged and not over 4.2V per cell is overcharged. Another advantage of LiPo packs is the Low percentage self-discharge. An unused pack loses about 3-5% of its energy per month. It is necessary to keep an eye on the battery, as very long storage can lead to discharge below the minimum permissible value (3V per cell) and to irreversible chemical reactions, which can lead to a deterioration of the battery characteristics and even permanent damage, in extreme cases to ignition. On average, an unused LiPo pack should be charged to approx. 70%.

When used correctly, the service life of LiPo packs is on average 500-700 cycles. An important aspect is the temperature at which LiPo batteries can be operated. In contrast to other rechargeable batteries, LiPo cells cope well with low temperatures. However, they should be charged at room temperature. To keep LiPo batteries in good condition, they should be balanced during charging with a service plug, which most LiPo packs have (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
