The CM16 Carbine GBB II carbine replica is was manufactured by G&G as part of the Combat Machine project, which aims to deliver high quality replicas at a price that can be considered economical. The Combat Machine replicas are characterised by the highest quality of manufacture and the company culture typical of G&G, as well as the high quality of the materials used.

The main factor that allows the price to be reduced is the use of a high-quality plastic body instead of a metal body. Also important is the fact that the receiver itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic - as are the front grip, the stock and almost all plastic elements. The outer barrel, the stock tube, the tactical sling attachment points, the magazine housing and most of the smaller elements are made of metal.

The GBBR variant of the replica is just an extension of the G&G Combat Machine series. In fact, G&G has used a very simple method to create a new model: they have installed a gas module with a closed bolt instead of the standard gearbox in the perfectly designed and tested body of the Combat Machine Replica.

The replica uses a gas system of the second version of the new (improved) project, which is characterised by great efficiency and high operating culture. Thanks to the extremely precisely manufactured valves, it is no problem to fire a full magazine of BB pellets with good muzzle velocity repeatability. In addition, the magazine can be emptied twice with a single charge of green gas.

The replica was produced in sand colour. Due to its muzzle velocity of approx. 360 FPS, the replica is perfectly suited for use at long and medium ranges. The upper RIS rail allows any optical sight to be attached instead of the carrying handle. The multi-position stock allows the replica to be customised to the user's individual preferences.
