The series of the latest replicas of Amoeba Airsoft is based on a well-known design of AR assault rifles. However, these replicas have been modified accordingly and equipped with many construction details and interesting technical solutionswhich not only increases functionality, but also enhances the attractiveness of the appearance. Thanks to its compact size, the AM-006 is very handy and ideal for use in CQB scenarios.

The housing of the replica is made of reinforced nylon. The quality of the materials used makes it difficult to recognise at first glance that it is actually polymer and not metal. The body carries Effective looking markingsincluding the model, the calibre and the Amoeba Airsoft logo. The metal parts include the outer barrel, the thread cover and small elements. The pistol grip is appropriately profiled and fitted with a rough, non-slip texture which ensures a secure and stable grip. The integrated foregrip improves manoeuvrability in the CQB. The magazine release button was enlargedto make operation easier.

The replica is equipped with a lightweight polymer shaft that can be folded to the side. The battery is housed in the upper part of the receiver. The hop-up adjustment is accessed in the traditional way for this type of design - by pulling back the charging handle and exposing the case ejector.

AM-005 offers one upper 22mm RIS railwhich makes it possible to attach a wide range of additional accessories to the replica, from optical sights to tactical torches. The replica is equipped with fixed iron sights. It has also been fitted with a small RIS Hand protection which enables the attachment of a front handle (included in the set) or other additional accessories.

The outer barrel has a 14mm right-hand thread, on which a silencer is mounted.

Amoeba Airsoft Replicas have the possibility of quick spring release without dismantling the gearbox. The centrepiece of the replica is a reinforced, slightly modified gearbox v.2 with an integrated EFCS - Electronic Firing Control System module. The module controls the operation of the trigger mechanism and ensures smooth operation and a reduction in the reaction time of the motor to the pulling of a trigger. A standard connecting cube has been replaced by an electronic system. The EFCS also contains a built-in MOSFET system.

EFCS extends significantly the longevity of the mechanism and therefore the entire replica. It also enables the use of high-voltage batteries, including LiPo. After the purchase of an external, special EFCS programming device the user can set the sequence of firing modes and the bursts (3 shots).

The magazine included in the set is a Hi-Cap that holds 300 BBs. The magazine housing was made of steel.
