ASR111 SDU2.0 Carabiner replica
The ASR111 carabiner replica from APS is a innovative product equipped with an "E-Silver Edge" gearbox. The ASR111 is based on a design typical of the family of popular American rifles and is equipped with a shortened RAS Guardian RTS assembly and a free-floating Steel outer barrel (the so-called free-float barrel system). The upper RIS rail allows the attachment of optical sights, such as a telescopic sight or a red dot sight, but as standard the replica is supplied with a mechanical folding sight precisely manufactured from durable composite plastic, the so-called APS Rhino Iron Sights. The sights deserve special attention - they allow the replica to be fired from both a high and a low profile, thanks to the possibility of adjusting the sights in two positions.
The RAS Guardian RTS (Rail Transformation System) itself is probably the most characteristic feature of the replica. RIS rail segments can be connected to the RTS in the usual positions (top, bottom, right, left) as well as in intermediate positions (left-top, right-bottom, etc.). The replica has a RIS rail with a QD mounting point and a QD swivel joint and a angled tactical handle.
The centrepiece of the replica is the new Silver Edge gearboxes with the SDU2.0 system, i.e. a fully programmable Mosfet system. It has been developed and manufactured in an innovative and user-friendly way. It is equipped with a quick spring change system which allows the user to change the muzzle velocity of the bullet without having to open the gearbox. The design is also fully compatible with most TM v.2 standard tuning and spare parts available on the market, allowing easy tuning of the replica.
The reinforced gear wheels are limited to 8 mm mounted on metal bearings. The electrical system consists of silver-plated, low-impedance cables which ensure stable operation, and the motor of the replica is equipped with a metal core. The cylinder and the precision inner tube with a diameter of 6,04mm are made of stainless steel.
The replica is designed for operation with 7.4V - 11.1V batteries. (not included)
