The receiver, pistol grip, butt and trigger are made of plastic. Metal is used for the M-LOK front grip, the outer barrel, the piston guide, the sights and most small parts.

The attached dorsal RIS rail allows the attachment of any optical sighting device, while the battery-operated multi-position stock allows the replica to be customised to the user's individual preferences. The set includes a set of folding mechanical sights of the flip-up type.

The Combat Machine Replica series currently uses the G2 gearbox frame with quick-release spring.
