The Explorer goggle from Magpul combines high-quality materials and outstanding protection with a casual style and unobtrusive appearance. The design integrates unobtrusive temples with an unobtrusive frame and impact-resistant lenses for a perfect blend of looks and eye protection. The Explorers are best suited for small to medium sized faces.
The reinforced frames and temples are injection-moulded from TR90NZZ thermoplastic and anatomically shaped to improve everyday comfort. The material used makes them lightweight yet extremely durable. Additional rubber elements in the nose and temple area significantly increase wearing comfort.
The lenses are extruded, cut and heat-moulded from shatterproof polycarbonate. The lenses are then polarised and coated with a scratch-resistant and anti-reflective hard coating to increase resistance to streaking and surface damage. An additional oleophobic treatment guarantees protection against liquids and chemicals. Although the lenses are not Z87.1 certified due to their shape, they are still made from the same shatterproof polycarbonate. They offer 100 % UVA and UVB protection with distortion-free clarity. The grey/green tinted lenses ensure optimum light transmission, absorb colours evenly for correct colour perception and eliminate reflections.
The Explorer goggles come with a DAKA storage case and a Magpul Lens Bag made of lens-safe cleaning material for maximum scratch protection during storage and shipping.
