Although the Explorer does not fulfil the Z87.1 standard due to its shape, the lenses and frame have been developed according to the same ballistic impact protection standards as our other eyewear.

The frame is made of TR90 and combines a lightweight construction with reliable ballistic protection
Oleophobic treatment of the lenses offers protection against liquids and other chemicals as well as scratch resistance
Anti-reflective coating on the inside of the lenses minimises annoying reflections
Coated stainless steel pins provide a simple but reliable hinge function
Low-profile padded temples integrate easily under helmets, communication headsets and over-ear hearing protection and offer high wearing comfort with rubber nose and temple pads
Rubber nose and temple pads are moulded to the frame for durability
Frames and lenses are suitable for medium-sized faces
