Description

The collar of the Mk.III Combat Shirt has been redesigned to make it more comfortable, and an optional Breacher Hood can now be fitted. The upper arm pockets have been adapted to allow better access and the elbow pad pocket has been modified to keep the pad in the perfect position. The adjustability of the sleeve cuffs has also been improved and fitted with an elasticated element, so that it harmonises better with body movements and noticeably increases comfort. In addition, the shirt has been lengthened to ensure that it cannot slip out of the trousers.

This combat shirt, specially tailored for use with ballistic protective waistcoats, has a very close-fitting cut that ensures a high level of comfort and prevents pressure points. The torso is made of a fire-retardant fabric in accordance with EN ISO 14116, which was specially developed for military and police applications. In contrast to polyester, the fabric used does not melt under the influence of high temperatures or flames, and the fabric also impresses with its very short afterburning and afterglow times. Thanks to the wicking effect of the fabric, moisture can be efficiently transported to the outside, while the fine surface also ensures a sense of well-being throughout use. In this way, we efficiently counteract a core risk that is often underestimated and at the same time ensure excellent performance and a high level of comfort. The reinforced elbow area features a thin layer of polyester fleece, which serves as a pocket for elbow pads and wicks away moisture. The shoulder area has been designed without seams, which prevents unpleasant pressure points when wearing rucksacks.
