Description

Replica GR16 CQW carbine

The GR16 CQW carbine replica manufactured by G&G was produced as part of the Combat Machine project, the aim of which is to offer high-quality replicas at a price that can be considered economical. The Combat Machine replicas are characterised by the highest quality of workmanship and culture characteristic of the G&G company, as well as the high quality of the materials used. Thus, the main factor enabling a price reduction is the use of a high-quality plastic body instead of metal. It is also important that the barrel itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic, as are the foregrip, the buttstock and almost all plastic parts. The outer barrel, the piston guide, the firing pins, the magazine housing and most of the small parts are made of metal.

The fire selector switch is located on the left-hand side of the housing and is labelled with graphic descriptions of the type of fire. The replica is equipped with the PBB system, which perfectly imitates the effect of a flammable counterpart. It sets the dummy breech block in motion and causes a noticeable "kick" of the replica in the shooter's arm
When the reloading handle is pulled back, the cartridge ejector cover opens and the dummy bolt moves back to the rear position. This is how the hop-up can be adjusted. Interestingly, the breech block also plays an important role: when it is depressed, the recoil latch in the gearbox disengages, releasing the recoil spring. This considerably extends the service life of the replica and enables a high rate of fire by minimising the effects of spring wear.

The mounted RIS rails enable the connection of any optical sighting device. Thanks to the RIS rails, which are located in the place of the front grip, it is also possible to attach additional equipment - tactical grip, torch, laser target marker, etc. The mechanical sighting device is located on the back rail ex works. The sighting module is attached using a RIS rail, while the musket is collapsible.
The battery is housed in an SF flask. Thanks to the considerable space available inside the flask, it is possible to use an energy source of considerable size and therefore considerable capacity.

The rifle is ideal for use at medium to long ranges due to the M130 spring used, which enables an exit velocity of ~ 380 FPS. Inside there is a sealed pneumatic system, which is fitted with a high-quality chamber and HU rubber.
The carabiner has aphenomenal BlowBack systemwhich makes the use of the replica even more realistic and offers the user an additional experience.
The Pneumatic Blow Back works by releasing part of the compressed air from the gearbox into a special cylinder above the frame. A piston in the PBB cylinder moves a thin plate attached to it, which imitates a lock.

Note: The manufacturer advises against using batteries that are stronger than 8.4V, as there is a possibility that the said plate will be damaged.

G&G replicas with the PBB system have a Reinforced, modified V2-gearbox. Among other things, it was adapted to the PBB system and fitted with an "active spring release" in the form of a locking button.

The gearbox is equipped with 8 mm ball bearings, a brass cylinder head and an aluminium piston head.

The kit contains neither a battery nor a charger.
