The GR16 CQW WASP The G&G carbine replica was produced as part of the Combat Machine project, the aim of which was to deliver a high quality replica at a price that could be described as economical. The Combat Machine replicas are characterised by the highest quality of production, high operating culture and high quality of the materials used - which is very characteristic of the G&G company. The main factor that made it possible to lower the price is the use of the housing and front handle made of high-quality plastic instead of metal. It is also significant that the body itself is made of plastic reinforced with glass fibre - as are the front handle, the stock and almost all plastic elements. This guarantees increased resistance of these elements to any mechanical damage. In this model, the outer barrel, the stock tube, the tactical sling attachment points, the magazine housing and most of the smaller elements are made of metal.

The replica was produced in black colour. By using the M90 mainspring, which guarantees a muzzle velocity of approx. 320 FPS, it is perfectly suited for short and medium range combat. The use of a single upper RIS rail allows the attachment of any optical sight. In addition, thanks to the complete RIS rail system located in the place of the front grip, it is possible to attach additional equipment such as a tactical grip, a torch, a laser target marker and so on...

The folding sight integrated into the RIS rail seems to be an interesting solution. The set includes a rear sight, which is also mounted on the RIS rail.

The battery is located in the Patriot shaft. Thanks to the available space in the shaft, it is possible to use a battery that is quite large and has a large capacity.

Thanks to its compact size and sturdy construction, the WASP carbine replica is a perfect replacement for a sub machine gun replica, a PDW or as a last chance weapon for the sniper. It fulfils its role as a secondary weapon despite the rather impractical fixed stock. The solution used in this design made it possible to reduce the dimensions and weight of the replica. The risk of accidental hooking into the equipment was also minimised.

An exceptional blow-back system, known from the Top Tech replica (the more "professional" and what follows - the more expensive G&G line), provides additional realism for the user of the replica and ensures additional experience for the user himself.

The pneumatic blow-back system works on the principle that part of the compressed air from the gearbox is channelled into a special cylinder located above the gearbox housing. The small piston located in the pneumatic blow-back system moves a thin plate attached to it. The plate imitates the bolt holder.

ATTENTION: The manufacturer advises against using batteries with more than 8.4V, as there is a risk of damaging the plate in question.

The G&G replicas equipped with the Pneumatic Blow-Back System have a reinforced and modified V.2 transmission. The modification that was made was to adapt the gearbox to the Pneumatic Blow-Back System and to add the "active main spring release button" in the form of the actuator.
