GR16 R5 assault rifle replica - Electric Blow-Back

The R5 is a modified version of the esteemed GR16 replica. Compared to its predecessor, the manufacturer has added a front RIS grip, removable iron sights, a tactical vertical grip and RIS rail covers. This model is also equipped with a fixed, spacious stock. Transporting the battery is no longer a problem. The perfectly functioning PBB system imitates the movement of the bolt carrier as in a real gun.

The Pneumatic Blow-Back system works on the basis of bleeding part of the compressed air from the gearbox into a special cylinder located above the housing. The piston, which is located in the PBB cylinder, moves the thick plate that is attached to it and imitates the bolt holder.

ATTENTION: the manufacturer does not recommend the use of batteries stronger than 8.4V, as the plate in question could be damaged.

The G&G GR16 R4 replica was manufactured to full metal standard. As with the real gun, the body, foregrip, front RIS grip, iron sights, barrel and flash hider were made of metal. In addition, the manufacturer has added some steel elements that could be vulnerable to damage or a shorter service life: the trigger, the trigger guard, the magazine release button, the slide stop lever, the drive and the dust cover.

The fixed stock, the pistol grip and the cover plates are made of robust plastic.

As befits the G&G company, all details are perfectly reproduced. The body bears the markings and each model has its own unique serial number. The manufacturer's markings are also engraved on the replica and the magazine is decorated with a 5.56mm x 45 mark. The plastic elements have a pleasant feel and a beautiful colour.

The replica is equipped with a functioning bolt catch lever. After pressing the bolt catch and pulling the bolt carrier replica to the rear, we gain access to the hop-up system. After pressing the bolt catch button again, the bolt carrier replica moves back into place, just like the real gun.

The G&G replicas equipped with the PBB system have a reinforced modified V3 gearbox. The modifications are: the adaptation of the gearbox to the PBB system and the addition of the "active spring release" in the form of the actuator. It is not possible to use a different transmission frame that works simultaneously with the PBB system and the active spring release system.
