GR25 Sniper

Description

Superb full metal replica of the SR-25 sniper rifle from G&G Armament.

The SR-25 was developed from the AR-10 and is therefore part of the M16 family of weapons. Over 60% of the parts on the original SR-25 are interchangeable with the AR-15 / M16. The SR-25 is produced in various versions and has been used by the US Navy Seals Sniper Teams since 1990. Our airsoft version from G&G Armament comes in 1/1 scale with semiautomatic S-AEG Firing function in 6mm BB calibre.

A one-piece aluminium outer barrel is mounted at the front of the rifle, in which a 6.04mm inner barrel with 510 mm is installed. The outer barrel can optionally be fitted with the enclosed QD Mock Suppressor, also made of aluminium. Thanks to the attached QD quick-release mount, the silencer can be attached or removed within seconds. Behind the QD mount is the flip-up front sight with height-adjustable front sight that can be folded in and out. Behind this, the GR25 sniper rifle is equipped with a robust RAS rail system with four 21mm rails. If the rail system is not used, two black rail covers are also included. Also included is the bipod mount for the rail system. The complete front system makes a very stable impression due to the material used and is mounted without play.

The main housing consists of two parts (top and bottom) and is made of aluminium. Thanks to the precise fit, the two halves of the case lie firmly on top of each other. The high-quality impression of the rifle is reinforced by the engraved G&G lettering and logos as well as the original lettering on the fire selector lever. On the upper housing there is an approx. 19.5 cm long 21 mm rail. This can be used to mount e.g. red dot sights. No rear sight is included in the scope of delivery so that the shooter can select his own sight. The well-shaped grip in standard M4 / M16 design is made of nylon reinforced plastic and convinces with a secure hold.

A fixed stock is attached to the rear. The fluted butt plate allows the rifle to be held securely in the stock. The drive battery (not included) is also accommodated here. Due to the large volume, up to 10.8 volt large-type batteries can be inserted here.

Inside is a standard Reinforced Version 2 metal gearbox with 8mm ball bearings. Furthermore the Gearbox equipped with steel gears and further G&G Reinforced internals. A Hi-Torque G&G Long-Type motor is also standard and ensures reliable operation. The only difference to normal V2 gearboxes is the extended nozzle.
