GSG-522 RIS submachine gun replica

The GSG-552 RIS submachine gun replica is a civilian replica of the MP5 clone, manufactured by GSG from metal and high-quality, durable plastic material. Thanks to the licence from Cybergun, the replica bears the markings of the real weapon.

The materials used in the manufacture of the replica correspond to the materials used in the manufacture of the real gun. The body of the replica, the outer barrel, the RIS rail set and most of the secondary elements are made of metal. The stock, the pistol grip and the front grip, which is equipped with the metal RIS rails that allow the attachment of a laser target marker, a tactical torch or a tactical grip, are made of plastic. The barrel is fitted with a 14mm anti-clockwise thread that allows the attachment of a silencer.

The one-piece body conceals a standardised V.2 metal gearbox with steel teeth. Thanks to the use of standardised internal parts that comply with the Tokyo Marui standard, it is possible to easily maintain and tune the replica. The BAXS system was used for this replica. It is a modified version of the standard hop-up system, which guarantees a stable and straight trajectory of the BB pellets.

The replica is equipped with a blow-back system that imitates the backward movement of the bolt that occurs when firing a real gun.

The small size, good balance and overall compactness make the GSG-522 RIS a perfect replica for close combat and CQB events. These factors are greatly enhanced by the ambidextrous fire mode selector, which allows the firing mode to be changed comfortably and easily with either the left or right hand. Importantly, the front and rear mechanical sights are fully adjustable.

The buttstock is equipped with a rubber cap that increases grip, while the pistol grip is specially profiled and has a non-slip texture that makes it easier to keep the replica in place during fast and dynamic encounters. The placement of the attachment points for the tactical sling allows the submachine gun to be placed on the equipment and the muzzle velocity easily exceeds the standards adopted by the CQB games.
