Description

Full metal airsoft replica of the classic Colt 1911 pistol as an extra-long Hi-Capa version with gas drive and extremely powerful blowback in 6 mm BB calibre.

The original Colt 1911 came onto the market over 100 years ago and is still a milestone in gun design today. Authorities, the military and special forces all over the world value the reliability of this pistol.

This gas-operated airsoft pistol from KJWorks has an extremely powerful and loud blowback effect. It is also much easier to reload crisper than most airsoft pistols and comes much closer to the hot 1911 versions.

Like the sharp original, this 6 mm airsoft pistol has a functioning palm safety, a slide stop and a safety catch on both sides. There are ribs on both sides of the slide to prevent you from slipping off the slide when loading.

With the exception of the grip panels, everything is made of high-quality metal and has an excellent finish. You will look in vain for cast seams, the pistol is correspondingly heavy and somewhat front-heavy in the hand with its 1200 g weight.

In comparison to the classic 1911 version, this one still has a 22 mm Rail under the barrel for accessories. The rail mount for pistols does not fit as this high-capa is not only significantly longer but also wider than comparable models.
Unfortunately, the conventional Hi-Capa QR holsters do not fit.

The chrome-coloured case ejection window still features .45 ACP, true to the original.

The sights are another small highlight. Two green fibre optics in the rear sight and one green fibre optic in the front sight make sighting easier, especially in somewhat darker conditions. The rear sight can also be adjusted horizontally and vertically.

The large mag well (grip base) is used to change the magazine more quickly.

The Hi-Capa KJWorks 6 is also very interesting for AIPSC players.

Special features:

• The magazine is very easy to fill. You pull the magazine spring all the way down and simply let the BBs roll into the magazine from below. However, a speed loader speeds up the filling of the magazine considerably. Do not allow the magazine spring to shoot upwards as long as there are no BBs in the magazine. This can damage the magazine.
• The 31 BBs Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa magazine is compatible, see matching article.
• The 50 BBs Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa magazine is compatible, see matching article.
• The GBB KJWorks magazine also fits, but is very difficult to remove
• The spinn-up system can be adjusted without tools, but you have to take the softair pistol apart to do this. Disassembly is easy and is very well illustrated in the instructions. You have to do this from time to time anyway - keyword: maintenance.
• The safety catch must be pressed in order to pull the trigger and fire.
• The safety catch can be operated from both sides of the gun.
• You can fire approx. 30 shots with one gas charge. (Always depending on the gas used and the ambient temperatures) and the cool-down effect is then also slowly noticeable thanks to the full metal construction.
• The modern serrated and perforated trigger is a single-action trigger.
• The pistol is "Made in Taiwan".

The maximum muzzle velocity is 105 m/s measured with 0.20 g BBs, which corresponds to a muzzle energy of 1.1 joules.

We recommend using BBs from 0.25 g.

Instead of the gas version, we also have the CO₂ Hi-Capa from KJWorks in our shop. We think both versions are equally good. It's more a question of whether you prefer to play with CO₂ or gas.
