What is
the hop-up system?

The Hop-Up System is a system that allows the
BB pellet, which is fired by airsoft replicas, imparts a spinning motion. It utilises the Magnus effect
Magnus effect to flatten the trajectory of a flying projectile so that it
look similar to the trajectory of a real firearm.

In reality, it is a properly moulded rubber or
or silicone seal, which causes a shotgun pellet to rotate when it comes into contact with it. The
easiest way to explain what the Hop-Up System is, is to say that a BB pellet that is
is turned from one side, more friction is generated in the air so that it can rotate.
If the rotation takes place in the horizontal axis, the air rifle pellet rotates
upwards and thus compensates for the gravitational force.

The strength with which the Hop-Up rubber
touches the BB pellet determines how strongly it rotates and therefore
rise. The heavier the airgun pellet is, the greater the pressure of the
pressure of the hop-up rubber (whereas the heavier BB pellet has a greater inertia and
falls down faster). It also works the other way round - if a light airgun pellet
is turned too much, it can go beyond the line of fire.
