L1A1 SLR Semi-Automatic Rifle Replica 

Replica of the British L1A1 SLR (Self-Loading-Rifle). The L1A1 is a British, so-called "inch version" of the Belgian FN FAL assault rifle, which was used by over 70 countries in various modified versions. Today, the FAL is almost no longer in service, although it is still used in some parts of the world. The history of the FAL begins around '46, when FN (Fabrique National) with work on a new rifle chambered for the German 7.92×33 mm Short-projectile began. From '53 to '54, the FAL was tested by the American army and the design was adapted to their needs, i.e. to the use of 7.62×51 mm NATO ammunition. 

The replica is a British version of the FN FAL, known as the L1A1 SLR, which was used during the Falklands Campaign. The replica is the result of ARES' efforts to introduce the L1A1 to the airsoft world. The replicas are mainly made of metal with the exception of the Steel-dust cover, the magazine and the transport handle. Polymer parts include the stock, pistol grip and hand guard.

The replica has a fire mode selector switch with only two settings (like the original firearm):
- S - Safe;
- R - Round.

The battery is located inside the stock of the replica, to access it the butt pad must be pulled back and rotated to tilt it. The replica has Tamiya small connections and is compatible with LiPo 7.4V batteries. It has a fully functional hop-up system that can be adjusted after pulling back the charging handle.

ARES has prepared this replica for the Japanese market, which means that precise craftsmanship and excellent accuracy of fit of the internal parts can be expected.

The replica is supplied with a steel mid-cap magazine with a capacity of up to 120 BBs.

The gearbox of the replica is characterised by the ARES solution known from other replicas, which provides a quick spring change
