Description

LiPo 7.4V 1000mAh 30/60C (PEQ) battery - T-Connect (Deans)

Specna Arms fulfils the expectations of its customers by bringing to market a wide range of high performance LiPo batteries to meet the needs of every user - whether you're looking for a stock stored battery, a handguard stored battery or a laser sight stored battery - you'll find this and much more on offer to keep you playing for longer.

Lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) batteries are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion (LiIon) batteries. The fundamental advantage of LiPo is undoubtedly the ratio of capacity to size. The batteries are very small and at the same time have a very high electrical efficiency, which makes it possible to select a suitable battery for practically any AEG replica. They have no memory effect. They can be recharged very frequently without having to be fully discharged. Frequent charging is an advantage for every battery type.

It is important not to discharge a LiPo pack below 3 V per cell and not to charge it above 4.2 V per cell. Another advantage of LiPo batteries is their low self-discharge. An unused battery loses about 3 - 5 % of its energy per month. It is important to take care of an unused battery, as there is a risk that it will be discharged below the minimum permissible value (3 V per cell) if it is not used for a longer period of time and unintentional chemical reactions can occur, which can lead to a deterioration in the battery's properties, including permanent damage and, in extreme cases, fire. An unused LiPo battery should be charged to 70% on average.

When used properly, a LiPo battery has an average service life of 500 - 700 cycles. An important factor is the temperature at which LiPo batteries can operate. Unlike other batteries, LiPo cells work well at low temperatures. However, they should be charged at room temperature. To maintain the good condition of LiPo batteries, they must be balanced during charging with a service port, which most LiPo packs have (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
