The replica of KJW's M9A1 sidearm was made almost entirely of metal - the only exception, apart from certain interior elements, being the polymer grip side panels.

The replica is equipped with a very effective blow-back system that adds an extra dose of realism to the firing of the replica; as soon as all BBs are fired and an empty magazine is detected, the bolt is locked in the rear position - as is the case with original firearms. In the rear area of the slide there is a comfortable safety on both sides. The replica has an adjustable hop-up. To gain access, the slide must be removed.

The magazine was made of metal. It has a capacity of up to 26 BBs and a 12g CO2 capsule. Due to the use of carbon dioxide as the energy source for the replica, it is possible to use it at lower temperatures than is possible with the most common energy source - green gas. At the same time, the use of appropriately selected valves significantly improves the efficiency of the gas.
