Thanks to the replica ballistic inserts on the front and back and the large surface area, it covers most of the user's body from shots fired at close range. Thanks to the Velcro adjustable size, it can fit most players. The front is also equipped with Velcro for various morale or team patches. The PBA can easily be used with the 'chicom' type or other waistcoats.
