PLithium-ion polymer ( LiPo ) batteries are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion ( LiIon ) batteries. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is undoubtedly the ratio of capacity to size. They can be charged very frequently without being discharged first. Frequent charging is an advantage for this type of battery.
