Description

Redox LiPo - 2400 mAh - 7.4V Dual-Mode

Packs from Redox present themselves in new quality on the market for power sources for ASG replicas. Each cell is individually tested and paired by hand with the others in the pack, which guarantees high quality and care. Each cell is also labelled with an individual ID number so that the entire usage history of the pack can be traced - therefore all batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. 100%igen product replacement guarantee covered in the event of a manufacturing defect.

Redox lithium polymer batteries are characterised by a Good weight/size ratio and a Very long service life with constant power output.

PLithium-ion polymer ( LiPo ) batteries are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion ( LiIon ) batteries. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is undoubtedly the ratio of capacity to size. They are very small and at the same time have a very high current capacityso that you can select a suitable battery for practically any AEG replica. They have no memory effect. They can be charged very frequently without being discharged first. Frequent charging is an advantage for this type of battery.

The LiPo pack should not below 3V per cell unloadand not over 4.2V per cell can be overcharged. Another advantage of LiPo packs is their low self-discharge. An unused pack loses about 3-5% of its energy per month. Keep an eye on the battery, as very long storage can lead to a discharge below the minimum permissible value (3 V per cell) and to irreversible chemical reactions, which can lead to a deterioration in the battery's properties, including permanent damage and, in extreme cases, ignition. On average, an unused LiPo pack should be charged to approx. 70%.

When operated correctly, the average service life of LiPo packs is 500-700 cycles. An important aspect is the temperature at which LiPo batteries can be operated. In contrast to other rechargeable batteries, LiPo Cells perform well at low temperatures. However, they should be charged at room temperature. To keep LiPo batteries in good condition, they should be balanced during charging with the service plug that most LiPo packs have (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
