It is made from rip-stop fabric (65% cotton / 35% polyester), which makes the shirt lightweight and durable. It's also quick-drying - whether it's a hot, sweaty day or rainy weather.
A number of pockets are available to the wearer: 2 large slanted pockets on the chest, 2 centre pockets on each arm and a small storage space for 3 items on the left forearm. On the outside of the arm pockets there are large hook and loop panels for unit ID cards or morale badges.
There is a high-quality YKK zip with hooks and eyelets on the front. The elbow area is double-layered and offers space for optional elbow pads for protection. There are straps at the end of the sleeves that can be used to adjust the fit to the user's needs.
