Some elements of the Specna Arms CORE™ lightweight machine guns have been made of polymer to reduce their weight and make the weapon more manageable. Polymer parts include: Body, handguard, dust cover, rear sight with base, magazine and pistol grip.

The metal parts include remaining elements such as the external barrel, the magazine well, the stock or the flash hider. The Specna Arms light machine gun consists of several steel parts: a bipod, an external barrel lock, a stock support, a trigger guard, a transport handle and all pins and mounting elements.

The ESA™ quick spring change system implemented in the machine gun replicas allows for quick and fast adjustment of the replica's performance to the conditions expected on the field, without the need for access to a workshop or a set of special tools. The process of changing the spring literally takes seconds - all that is required is to remove a single pin, pull off the original latch and remove the spring guide together with the spring through the opening in the gear frame.

The replica is driven by a full-size, robust M249 gearbox made of metal, which is characterised by its high durability and good series reliability. The mechanism is prepared for further tuning and ready for the stress associated with providing deck fire. Inside are the following components:

- M120 main spring
- 8 mm ball bearing
- Ball bearing spring guide
- Set of steel gears
- Rotatable metal hop-up chamber

The set includes a polymer box magazine with a capacity of 2500 BBs, with which you can cover your enemy with a shower of shots. The advance of the BBs from the magazine is automatic thanks to an electric wind-up mechanism powered by 2 AA batteries (not included in the set).
