The spring quick-change system implemented in the machine gun replicas ESA™ allows the performance of the replica to be quickly and rapidly adapted to the expected conditions on the pitch without the need for access to a workshop or a set of special tools. The process of changing the spring takes literally seconds - just remove a single bolt, pull off the bearing lock and remove the spring guide along with the spring through the opening in the gearbox frame.

The replica is made by a full-size, Metal and heavy-duty M249 gearbox, which is characterised by its high durability and good reliability in its original condition. The mechanism is prepared for further tuning and ready for loads associated with the provision of covering fire. Inside are the following components:
