The Specna Arms brand SA-A04 carbine replica is predominantly made of a homogeneous alloy of zinc and aluminium with the use of steel elements in the neuralgic points of the replica (the screws, the pins and the tactical sling attachment points were made of steel). The SF stock, which holds the battery, and the pistol grip are made of polymer plastic. The body of the replica and the RIS rail were anodised, which guarantees a high level of corrosion protection. The replica itself was painted using the pulverisation method after the surface of the replica had been sandblasted. This ensures a higher abrasion resistance of the paint than usual.

The replica was very well equipped - in a way that had previously only been seen in G&P or Classic Army class replicas. It was also perfectly balanced. This makes for perfect manoeuvrability of the replica, while you almost don't feel its weight when you put the replica on your shoulder.

The replica utilises a quick main spring change system called Enter & Convert™. This allows for quick and fluid adjustment of the replica's performance to battlefield conditions without the need to have access to a workshop or a range of specialised tools - by removing the gearbox from the replica's body, the process of replacing the mainspring takes literally seconds.

The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system can hardly be overestimated. Considering the existing laws in Europe that limit the muzzle velocity of the replica and the facilities within the airsoft society, this system guarantees the user great possibilities and more freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows the main spring to be changed in the shortest possible time and the muzzle velocity of the replica to be adapted to the battlefield, ensuring a perfect compromise between the effectiveness of firing and the safety of yourself and other players.

The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Thanks to the basic muzzle velocity of approx. 410 FPS guaranteed by the standard mainspring, the replica is perfect for use at medium distances. The set also includes an M90 mainspring, which makes it possible to reduce the muzzle velocity to around 310 FPS, making the replica perfect for short-range missions or fighting inside buildings.

The gearbox, which is reinforced at the level of the cylinder head, conceals a steel main spring guide, which is the element of the Enter & Convert™ system, as well as 8mm ball bearingand Steel threaded wheels which are mounted on spacers. The system is secured with four reversing locks. There is a Type 2 cylinderand the Steel crusherand a Metal hop-up chamber which are used in this replica.

The upgraded version is equipped with some new, improved internal parts:

The replica is equipped with an upper 22mm RIS rail, a set of front 22mm RIS rails and an adjustable stock. The folding sight is located on the upper RIS rail and can be easily removed and replaced with an optoelectronic sight. Thanks to the folding stock, which ends with a non-slip butt plate, it is possible to adjust the length of the replica to the shooter's build and preferences. The standard flash hider is placed on a 14mm mating thread, which allows a silencer to be fitted in its place.

To increase the degree of realism, the replica was equipped with a functional bolt catch lever.

The replica set also includes a steel hi-cap magazine that holds 300 BB pellets.
