The SA-A08 assault rifle replica from Specna Arms is largely made of a uniform zinc and aluminium alloy, reinforced with steel elements in the most sensitive areas of the replica (steel elements - all screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Both the SF stock, in which the battery is housed, and the pistol grip were made from polymer. The receiver of the replica was added to the Anodising process which guarantees a high level of corrosion protection. The colour was applied using a process for powder coatingafter the surface has been sandblasted before the colour is applied. This ensures a much higher abrasion resistance of the applied colour than usual. The receiver carries USMC markings.

The Parts of the replica fit together very well - In addition, the replica is perfectly balanced in a way that was previously only seen in replicas from top manufacturers such as G&P or Classic Army. This allows for almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica and the weight is hardly noticeable once you have shouldered the replica.

The replica has a Fast spring release system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. Thanks to this system, it is possible to quickly adjust the performance of the replica to the expected conditions on the pitch without the need to have access to a workshop or a set of special tools - once the gearbox has been removed from the body of the replica, the process of changing the spring takes literally seconds.

The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system are hard to overestimate. Given the current tendency across Europe to use legal restrictions on the muzzle velocity of replicas or internal regulations within different groups, the system guarantees the user a wide range of options and a great deal of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows the main spring with a minimum of time and thus adapt the muzzle velocity to the playing area in such a way that an ideal compromise between Shooting effectiveness and safety for the user and other participants is guaranteed.

The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe Batteries. With a Base Muzzle velocity of ~410 FPS due to the main spring installed as standard by the manufacturer, the replica is perfect for operation on suitable for a medium range. The set also includes an M90 spring, which makes it possible to reduce the muzzle velocity to ~310 FPS and thus adapt the replica for close-range and indoor use.

A reinforced gearbox at cylinder level contains a steel spring sliderwhich is an element of Enter & Convert™ system and is based on 8mm ball bearing and caps Steel gears is mounted. The system is secured with four reversible latches. The lightweight polycarbonate piston is fitted with a steel tooth to increase its durability. The replica is equipped with a 22 mm RIS rail and an adjustable stock. The upper RIS rail is fitted with a folding metal sight that can be removed to make room for an optoelectronic aiming device of your choice. Thanks to the extendable stock with non-slip shaft pad, it is possible to adjust the length of the replica to the user's body type and preferences. The standard flash hider is based on a 14 mm left-hand thread, which allows a silencer to be fitted in its place.

To increase the realism of the game, the replica also has a functioning bolt catch mechanism.

The replica is equipped with a new generation A-TACS IX® camouflage using the Water transfer technique. The use of water transfer guarantees a high durability of the colour, resistance to external influences and scratches as well as a very high accuracy and quality of the pattern.
