Description
Replica of the SA-A13 assault rifle
The replica of the SA-A13 assault rifle by Specna Arms is mostly made of a uniform zinc and aluminium alloy and reinforced with steel elements in the most sensitive parts of the replica (steel elements - all screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Both the SF stock, which houses the battery, and the pistol grip were made of polymer. The housing of the replica and the RIS handguard were anodised, which ensures a high level of corrosion protection. The paint was applied by powder coating after the surface had undergone a sandblasting process before the paint was applied. This ensures a much higher abrasion resistance of the applied paint than usual.
The individual parts of the replica fit together very well - as could previously only be observed with replicas from top manufacturers such as G&P or Classic Army - and the replica is also perfectly balanced. This allows the replica to be almost ideally manoeuvrable and its weight is hardly noticeable once the replica has been shouldered.
The replica features a quick release system called Enter & Convert™. Thanks to this system, it is possible to quickly adjust the performance of the replica to the expected conditions on the pitch without requiring access to a workshop or a set of special tools - once the gearbox has been removed The process of changing the spring takes literally seconds.
The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system are hard to overestimate. Given the current tendency throughout Europe to apply legal restrictions on replica muzzle velocity or internal regulations within different groups, the system guarantees the user a wide range of possibilities and a great deal of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows the mainspring to be exchanged with minimal time expenditure and thus the muzzle velocity to be adapted to the game range, so that an ideal compromise between fire effect and safety is also guaranteed for the user himself like other participants.
The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Due to the base muzzle velocity of ~440 FPS provided by the main spring installed by the manufacturer as standard, the replica is perfect for medium range operation. Also included in the set is an M90 spring that allows the muzzle velocity to be reduced to ~340 FPS, adapting the replica for close-range and indoor operations.
The gearbox, reinforced at the level of the cylinder head, conceals a steel main spring guide that is part of the Enter & Convert™ system, as well as 8 mm ball bearings and steel threaded gears placed on spacers. The system is secured by the use of four backstops. A Type 2 cylinder, steel breaker and metal hop-up chamber are installed in this replica.
The updated version is equipped with some new, improved internal parts:
- Set of reinforced steel gears
- Steel spring guide
- Lightweight polymer flask
- Aluminium, sealed piston head
- Metal cylinder head
- Airtight metal nozzle
The replica is equipped with a 22 mm upper RIS rail, a RIS handguard and an adjustable stock. The RIS upper rail has flip-up metal iron sights that are freely removable to make room for mounting an optoelectronic target device of your choice. The extendable stock with non-slip stock rest makes it possible to adjust the length of the replica to the user's body type and preferences. The standard flash hider is based on a 14 mm left-hand thread, which allows a silencer to be fitted in its place.
To add to the realism of the game, the replica also has a working bolt-lock mechanism.
The replica comes with a 300 BB Hi-Cap steel magazine.
