FAST Pockets are made of strong polymer. The pouches are designed for 5.56 magazines, e.g. M4 / M16 (STANAG) magazines. They have no flaps, which Quick access to the magazines while at the same time holding them securely in place and preventing them from accidentally falling out, even if they are mounted upside down.
