The WE SMG8 submachine gun replica cannot be described as a replica, as it is an original WE project based on the well-known and tested design of German project submachine guns. The fact that it is not a direct replica of an existing weapon allowed the designer to freely utilise the experience and solutions of various designers. The result is a very ergonomic and comfortable design whose construction and size are adapted to its intended use: for use at medium and short distances, primarily inside buildings.

The replica is equipped with a comfortable folding stock that allows it to be adapted to the user's physique and individual preferences. A 22mm RIS rail goes through the upper part of the receiver and allows the mounting of a red dot sight. These rails have also been fitted to the front of the replica, on the sides and under the barrel.

The adjustable hop-up system has been adapted in the replica so that it significantly improves the accuracy and range of the replica. It is possible to shoot in semi-automatic and fully automatic mode, and the fact that the selector lever for the firing mode is placed on both sides of the receiver makes the Replica extremely easy to use for both left- and right-handed shooters.
