Description

TGR-418 Light carabiner replica

The TGR-417 Light Version replica from the company G&G is manufactured within the Top Tech series. Metal (including steel) and plastic were used for this replica. The magazine, the dust cover, the drive, the trigger and the flash hider as well as the iron sights are made of steel. The stock base, the receiver, the outer barrel and most of the smaller elements are made of a homogeneous alloy of zinc and aluminium. The stock base is made of rubber. The stock can be adjusted in length, which makes it possible to adapt the replica to the user's circumstances and physique.

The selector lever for the firing mode is located on the left side of the replica and is labelled with graphic symbols for the firing modes of the replica. The replica is equipped with a PBB system that perfectly imitates the operation of the real gun. It moves the dummy bolt carrier and creates a "kick" effect that can be felt on the shooter's arm.

After pulling the clamping handle, the dust cover opens and the dummy of the locking carrier moves to the rear position. This allows the hop-up system to be adjusted. It is interesting to note that the actuator has a function: After pressing it, the anti-reverse lever of the gearbox is released, which releases the main spring. This significantly extends the life of the replica and makes it possible to maintain the high muzzle velocity by minimising the exploitation effects of the spring.

The replica is black in colour. By using the M100 spring, which guarantees a muzzle velocity of approx. 350 FPS, it is perfectly suited for use at short and medium distances. The upper RIS rail makes it possible to attach any type of optical device. Thanks to the RIS rail used instead of the front grip, it is also possible to mount additional accessories - a tactical vertical grip, a tactical torch, a laser target marker and so on...

The set also includes a RIS-mounted iron sights unit.

The battery is located in an SF shaft. Thanks to the large amount of space inside the shaft, it is possible to use an energy source that has relatively large dimensions and therefore also a large capacity.

The GR15 Raider XL carbine replica is perfect for a primary weapon. Thanks to the appropriate length of the barrels and a sealed pneumatic system equipped with a high-quality hop-up chamber and hop-up rubber, it was possible to achieve an appropriate muzzle velocity while maintaining a stable trajectory of the BB pellets and a good range. The muzzle velocity is suitable to use the replica safely and effectively in CQB/MOUT battles, but it can also be used in open terrain.

The carbine utilises a phenomenal blow-back system, as seen in the Top Tech Replicas (a more "professional" and of course more expensive G&G Replicas series), which brings added realism to the use of the replica and provides additional experience to the user themselves.

The Pneumatic Blow-Back works by drawing back some of the compressed air from the gearbox into a special cylinder located directly above the frame. The gun located in the PBB cylinder moves with a thin metal plate that imitates the movement of the shutter carrier.

ATTENTION: The manufacturer does not recommend the use of batteries stronger than 8.4V, as there is a risk of damaging the above-mentioned plate.

The G&G replicas equipped with the PBB system are fitted with a reinforced modified V2 gearbox. The modifications are based on the adaptation of the gearbox to the PBB system and the addition of an "active spring release system" in the form of the actuator.

The gearbox is equipped with an 8 mm metal ball bearing, a brass cylinder head and an aluminium piston head.

The set does not include the battery and charger.
