Trekking All-Season Socks

Multi-season trekking socks are made from a CoolMax fabric that wicks away excess moisture to keep your feet dry at all times. They can be worn all year round.

CoolMax - a material made from fibres specially developed by the DuPont Group, the purpose of which is to ensure good air circulation for the body and to wick moisture away to the outside, providing a pleasant feeling of softness and dryness, even during the greatest exertion, even in humid environments. Thanks to the wash-resistant, antibacterial finish, Coolmax is able to eliminate bacteria that appear on the sweaty body and limit unpleasant odours.

The design of the summer trekking sock takes into account the specifications of the trekking boots, the pressure points on the foot and the places where abrasions can occur. They are adapted to the anatomical shape of the left and right foot and have padding in vulnerable areas, cuffs and straps, appropriate reinforcements and flat seams around the toes. The padding and reinforcements are made of appropriately profiled terry cloth, which is contoured differently on the toes of the left and right foot.
Precisely positioned ventilation zones and the largest possible surface area enable excellent drainage of water vapour, which occurs at high temperatures and during increased exertion. This reduces the feeling of exhaustion and prevents swelling.

The water vapour is optimally dissipated thanks to the large surface area.

Features:

- The socks have a wide cuff (drawstring) with carefully selected elasticity.
- Elasticated straps on the foot and around the ankle improve the stability of the foot and prevent the sock from slipping and rolling up.
- Reinforcements on the hips and in the toe and calf area are made of three-layer, profiled terrycloth that absorbs shocks and protects against scratches
- A special seam on the sole prevents the socks from slipping and rolling up.
- A flat seam in the toe area prevents scratches.
- The surfaces allow increased moisture release to the outside of the sock.
