Wiley X® is certified by the US National Quality Assurance (NQA) according to ISO 9001:2008. Both the frame and the lenses of the glasses are certified with the High Velocity Protection™ (HVP™) technology. This protects our eyes from injuries that can be caused by objects that come into contact with high speed move.
Interestingly, this technology outperforms the ANSI Z87.1 safety standardswhich guarantee a very high level of impact protection, and the ANSI Z80.3 optical standard, which provides a clear and distortion-free image. The goggles also fulfil the military ballistic standard MIL-PRF-32432(GL).
The glasses consist of8 layers of Selenite polycarbonatewhich with T-SHELL™ coated, which makes them scratch-resistant. They are 100% protective against UVA/UVB Radiation. Thanks to their narrow profile Fully compatible with NVG goggles. They offer unobstructed vision without tunnel vision.
The glasses have aspecial "TAKE-FLIGHT" nose pad, which allows the glasses to be adapted to almost any nose shape, which undoubtedly results in a high level of comfort. Corrective lenses can also be inserted into the glasses.
