The Xtreme 45 is the first CO2-powered pistol replica from G&G. The frame, slide and magazine are made of a durable, homogeneous alloy of zinc and aluminium. The pistol grip shells are made of ABS plastic with a non-slip surface.

In the design, the manufacturer focussed on effectiveness and operating precision, which resulted in a somewhat unusual design for green gas pistols. It is worth mentioning the three main features - firstly, the blow-back system used in this replica behaves a little differently than in the designs based on the TM standard; the slide makes part of the cycle by moving only 2.5 centimetres to the rear. The manufacturer called the system "mock blow back", which makes it possible to minimise energy loss.

Another important innovation in the replica is the use of a closed chamber. We are dealing here with a closed pneumatic system, which leads to a sealing of the system, which in turn results in the repeatability and precision of the shots.

The replica is equipped with a 22mm RIS rail, which allows the attachment of a tactical torch and a laser target marker.
