Description

Redox LiPo 3000mAh 11.1V 20C battery

The packages from Redox represent a New quality on the market of power sources for ASG replicas. Each cell is tested individually and manually paired with the other cells in the pack, which ensures high quality and careful processing. Each battery has an individual ID number, which allows their usage history to be tracked - as a result, all batteries are entitled to the manufacturer's warranty, which is a 100%ige exchange guarantee in the event of a factory defect.

Lithium polymer packages from Redox are characterised by a good ratio between weight and size anda long service life without any loss of performance.

Lithium-ion polymer (LiPo) packs are the successor to the well-known lithium-ion (LiIon) packs. The fundamental advantage of LiPo is undoubtedly the ratio of capacity to size. The batteries are of very small size and at the same time very high electrical efficiency, which makes it possible to select a suitable battery for practically any AEG replica. They have no memory effect. They can be recharged very frequently without having to be fully discharged. Frequent charging is an advantage for every battery type.

It is important to have a LiPo Pack not to be discharged below 3V per cell and not to overcharge above 4.2V per cell . Another advantage of LiPo Packs is a low percentage of self-discharge. Unused packs lose approximately 3-5% of energy per month. It is important to take care of an unused battery pack, as there is a risk that it will be discharged below the minimum permissible value (3 V per cell) if it is not used for a longer period of time and unintended chemical reactions may occur, leading to a deterioration of the battery's properties, including permanent damage and, in extreme cases, fire. An unused LiPo Pack should be charged to an average of 70%.

Properly used, a LiPo Pack has an average service life of 500-700 cycles. An important factor is the temperature at which LiPo packs can work. In contrast to other batteries LiPo Cells good at low temperatures. However, they should be charged at room temperature. To maintain the good condition of the LiPo batteries, it is necessary to equalise them during charging with a service port, which most batteries are equipped with. LiPo packs have (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
