The BI-3981M Replica is made of metal and plastic. The SF stock, the pistol grip and the RIS rail cover are made of plastic. The elements such as the receiver, the outer barrel and the gas tube replica, the RIS rail system, the adjustable cocking handle, the hop-up chamber, the tactical sling attachment point, the magazine and the stock tube, on the other hand, are made of metal. The carbine is also equipped with an adjustable hop-up system, which can be accessed by pulling back the cocking handle and opening the dust caps under which the adjustment knob is located.
