CES A5 is an AEG Airsoft replica manufactured by the classic brand ICS. The replica was made of metal and TPR polymer with a pleasant to the touch texture and with the utmost attention to detail. The metal parts include the upper receiver, the muzzle device, the buffer tube, the iron sights and the charging handle. The lower receiver, pistol grip, recoil pad and handguard are made of polymer. The magazine and the tactical sling swivels, on the other hand, are made of steel.

The replica is driven by a standard, durable V2 gearbox (ICS GII) with an M120 main spring in the barrel. The gearbox has multiple reinforced parts and 7 mm bearings. The hop-up is adjusted in a rather unusual way - with a lever located on the left side of the silencer housing.
