A replica of the CM16 LMG light machine gun from G&G was built as part of the Combat Machine project whose goal is to provide high quality replicas at a price that can be considered economical. Combat Machine replicas are characterised by their supreme, distinctive of G&G products, craftsmanship, reliability and quality of materials used. The main factor that allows reduce the priceis the use of a receiver made of high-quality Glass fibre reinforced polymer instead of metal.

Polymer parts include the receiver, the pistol grip, the stock or the front RIS handguard in the M-LOK system. The metal parts include the outer barrel, the muzzle device, the slide and various elements.

The replica is perfect for use at medium range with a muzzle velocity of ~410 FPS. The top-mounted RIS rail enables the attachment of a any optical sight, while the telescopic stock, which holds the battery, allows the replica to be customised to the preferences of the individual user. The set includes a handguard with bipod. The compact size of the replica will certainly be suitable for CQB players.

Apart from the high-quality parts typical of G&G, the GB is equipped with an innovative ETU system (Electronic Trigger Unit). The system supplements the function of the MOSFET circuit. The ETU system has the option of programming fire modes. By default, the user has access to the SAFE - SEMI - FULL AUTO - 3 round burst modes. The programming process is trivial - the user only needs to select the SEMI option and pull the trigger for 10 seconds. Once this is done, the third option of the firing mode selector will trigger the selected mode.

The set contains an electric box magazine with a capacity of up to 2500 BBs. It is powered by two AA batteries.
