The CM16 Raider L GBB carbine replica from G&G was manufactured as part of the Combat Machine project, which aims to deliver high quality replicas at a price that can be considered economical. The Combat Machine replicas are characterised by the highest quality of manufacture and workmanship, which is characteristic of the G&G company, as well as the high quality of the materials used.

The main factor that allows the price to be reduced is the use of a high-quality plastic body instead of a metal body. Also important is the fact that the receiver itself is made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic - as are the foregrip, the stock and almost all plastic elements. The outer barrel, the stock tube, the tactical sling attachment points, the magazine housing and most of the smaller elements are made of metal.

The GBBR version of the replica is just an extension of the G&G Combat Machine series. In fact, G&G has used a very simple method to create a new model: It has inserted a gas module with a closed bolt instead of the standard gearbox into the perfectly designed and tested body of the Combat Machine replica.

The replica uses a newly designed gas system that is characterised by great efficiency. Thanks to the unusually precisely manufactured valves, emptying the entire magazine with a highly repeatable muzzle velocity is no problem at all. In addition, the capacity of the BB pellet magazine can be emptied twice with a single charge of green gas.

The model is from the new, 2nd generation with the following changes:

- ambidextrous fire rate selector
- Ambidextrous magazine release
- Functioning shutter lock

The features of the Gen. 2 version make it a good choice for right- and left-handers, as well as an even better resemblance to the real steel.

The replica was produced in black colour. Due to its muzzle velocity of approx. 360 FPS, the replica is perfectly suited for use at long and medium distances. The upper RIS rail allows an optical sight to be attached instead of the carrying handle.

The front handle has been replaced with a RIS rail set, each 22mm wide, which allows a variety of additional devices or accessories to be attached, such as a tactical torch, laser target marker or tactical grip, etc.
