CXP-HOG assault rifle replica is made of metal and high-quality polycarbonate polymer. The two-piece receiver, stock slide and key mod handle are made of metal, while the moulded pistol grip, stock and flip-up sights are made of polymer.

A well-known and characteristic feature of all ICS M4 replicas is the unique two-piece design of the receiver, which enables quick replacement of the upper module and adjustment of the replica's performance to the requirements of the current situation on the battlefield. Another unique solution used here is the main spring release (the release of the spring without firing occurs as soon as the firing mode selector is set to a SAFE option), which makes it possible to significantly extend the life of the replica.
