Thanks to a comfortable, non-slip pistol grip, the DM.40 pistol replica fits perfectly in the hand. The set includes additional pistol grip overlays that can be used to change the shape of the grip and adapt it to the user's needs. As with the original weapon, the telescopic sight is clearly visible and marked so that shooting is possible even in poor lighting conditions.

The plastic slide has notches to make it easier to reload the pistol. There is a mark for the firing pin on the rear wall of the slide. The mark can be slid out to check whether the replica is loaded even in complete darkness.

An ambidextrous magazine release button facilitates the use of the replica by left-handed shooters. The functional safety lever (known from the Colt 1911 replicas) and a trigger safety (known from the Glock replicas) protect the replica from an accidental shot.
