The ELAKS74MN from E&L's "Essential" range is one of the most detailed and realistic replicas of the AKS-74N on the market. The ELs are manufactured in an authentic gun factory using state-of-the-art production methods. This results in high performance and excellent quality of the external elements.
The ELAKS74MN is a modernised version of the traditional AK-74 rifle - a full-size model with a stock that folds to the left. It is ideal for CQB, close and medium range games. The 710/950 mm long replica is fed from a polymer magazine and shoots in single and full-auto mode.
Main elements such as the receiver, outer barrel, side-folding stock, dust cover, gas block, sight block, gas tube, sights and other small parts are milled from steel. The only plastic parts are the pistol grip, the hand guard with gas tube cover and the magazine.

As with the original, the housing of the replica is made of stamped steel to ensure high resistance to wear and breakage. It is also provided with an anti-corrosion coating. The steel dust cover is connected to the gas block and is secured by a spring-loaded push button. A side rail is attached to the left-hand side of the receiver to accommodate standard Russian-style optics and accessories.
The front features a modernised polymer hand guard with finger grooves and side indentations as well as a hand stop for a firm grip and comfortable handling.

The centrepiece of the replica is a V3 gearbox with a quick-change spring system and ultra-compact MOSFET. The V3 gearbox also has a steel cylinder, a high-speed motor and a full-metal hop-up chamber. All this results in optimum performance and provides a good basis for further tuning.
