The G39E replica is manufactured by WE and is based on the designs of TM. It is fully compatible with the standards set by TM and, as a result, with the parts of other manufacturers whose designs are also based on the Tokyo Marui standard.

Like the original, the replica is largely made of lightweight and durable plastic. The barrel, the 22mm RIS rail set and most of the smaller elements such as the pins, the trigger, the fire mode selector etc. are made of metal. The entire construction is built in a modular system and is equipped with a RIS rail set, which makes it possible to attach additional equipment such as aiming devices and also a tactical grip, a laser aiming indicator or an under-barrel grenade launcher.

The next important features that increase the replica's usefulness are the ambidextrous selector lever and the side-folding stock, which is equipped with a non-slip buttstock, as well as tactical sling attachment points and a folding bipod.

The internal design itself is a compromise between innovation and functionality. WE has managed to introduce a number of functional and important changes that at the same time do not affect the TM standard; one of the most important and characteristic changes is the main spring release, which is connected to the ignition mode selector lever. Whenever you move the selector lever to the SAFE position, the main spring is released, which prevents unwanted tension inside the gearbox. This significantly increases the service life of the mechanical elements and maintains the toughness of the main spring.

The reinforced gearbox, made from 8mm metal ball bearings, conceals steel threaded gears and a lightweight polycarbonate piston, which has a rather original head that allows better placement and direction of the airflow thanks to its design. This is achieved by equipping it with a series of directional outlet ducts. The cylinder head is equipped with a full gasket, which also serves as an amortisation for the piston crown. The whole thing is powered by an engine with increased torque and a regular main spring.

Thanks to the basic muzzle velocity of approx. 430 FPS, the replica is perfectly suited for use at medium ranges. Nevertheless, thanks to the top quality parts used, it is possible to tune the replica quickly and effectively.
