GSS is a replica manufactured by G&G from GT Advanceline, which is characterised by high-quality workmanship of both the external and internal parts. These replicas look really solid and are effective on the airsoft battlefield, making them everything that would make an airsoft player happy. With this replica, G&G joins the ranks of manufacturers who already have these classic, silenced sniper riflewhich is used by the special forces of the Russian Federation.

The replica is made of Extraordinary amount of steel. The receiver cover, rear sight, rear sight, cocking lever, safety lever and - the best part - the entire characteristic integrated silencer are made of steel. The receiver and smaller parts are made of metal (ZnAl, aluminium 6061). The stock, like the real gun, is made of naturally varnished woodand it ends with a comfortable thick rubber shaft pad. The last element, the hand guard, is made of ribbed polymer - as with the original weapon.

The replica can be can be disassembled into two parts in just a few seconds by pressing a locking pin (at the base of the stock). The first part is the whole body with silencer, the other is the stock with the motor in the pistol grip. This design allows for easy transport. The safety lever is located on the right side, similar to the AK replicas. The tyre selector is located in the trigger guard - just like on the real guns. The special Side mounting rail enables the installation of additional optics.

The GSS is operated by a Own Li-MN stick batteryinside the silencer. The set contains two of these batteries. Thanks to the included Tamiya small type adapter it is possible to use standard rechargeable batteries that fit into the silencer. The silencer itself is dismantled by removing the ring near the housing.

The inner workings are manufactured with the precision typical of G&G, with some interesting innovations. The replica has a specially developed gearbox with 8mm ball bearing and is driven by a 25000 rpm motor with high torque. This is the High muzzle velocityVersion, i.e. with mounted shaft M120 spring, the ~400FPS muzzle velocity out of the box.

The G&G engineers have provided us with a few constructive innovations - the GSS has electronic chipwhich switches off the power when the last cartridge has been fired or the magazine has been removed. Before the first shot is fired, the clamping lever must be pulled, which Increases the realism when shooting. To fire without a bullet, the special button inside the magazine well must be pressed. The shaft also houses LED light that indicates the battery charge status and the position of the gears. The icing on the cake is the Quick spring change system. To change the spring, simply remove the mounting cover and unscrew the plug with the spring tube from the rear of the gearbox.
